Music Video Review by Zoth Ommog

There is a star rising from the east, shining glitter down upon this depraved world and spreading a gospel of negativity to legions of fans. Justin Symbol and The Godbombs have risen from the underground clubs of New York City to share their unique style of electro-shock-rock with the masses. With the release of their debut album “Voidhead” in 2014 and extensive touring across the United States, this powerhouse trio have made their mark on the national rock scene as a force to be reckoned with. Now they’ve returned to the studio to record their follow-up album, Godhead, set to be released this fall. Click the link to Godhead’s title track below for a taste of their latest sound.

The video for “Godhead” starts off with a beautiful desert landscape where three individuals are partaking in a divination ritual. The celebrant utilizes a scrying technique to visualize Justin Symbol in a bowl of mysterious liquid. Overwhelmed by his prophecy, the angered celebrant commands his minions to capture Justin, who appears to be undergoing a vision quest of his own through the desert. Mayhem ensues, but Justin overcomes these tribulations and arrives at a psychedelic orgy under the night sky. Justin’s journey comes to end when he realizes that the divine force with which he sought to align himself was in fact an inseparable duality, both light and dark. And it is through this revelation that he receives a higher state of consciousness which he refers to as the Godhead.
